The company maintains a current corporate website to communicate and engage with stakeholders. |
A. Explanation
This Provision specifies the website as the medium for communicating and engaging with stakeholders.
With the pervasiveness of the Internet, a web presence is a necessity for communicating with all stakeholders.
However, the value lies not in just having a website but, rather, ensuring that it is:
- Current: relevant information, especially investor-related information, is updated on a timely basis.
- Useful: the content is relevant and understandable, and it is designed and organised in a manner that allows investors to find information quickly and easily.
- Engaging: the website should be designed to engage the relevant stakeholders. Communication should be two-way, so that stakeholders can provide their feedback and the engagement encourages them to return and use the site as the primary communication channel with the company.
